Il locale, situato in Piazza S.Michele, è inserito nella “Torre della Lengueglia”, probabilmente la più antica di Albenga (XII secolo), definita dagli storici come"Torre di Filiberto Lengueglia".

The tower of Lengueglia, located on the corner of Via Roma and Piazza S. Michele, is identifiable with that defined by historians as "Tower of Filiberto Lengueglia ".

Dalla fine del medioevo alla seconda metà del ‘900, ha subito varie modifiche giungendo ad ospitare, durante i primi del ’900, le botteghe di un ciabattino e di una maglierista.

Nell’anno 1955 il locale diventa di proprietà della famiglia che lo gestisce attualmente.

Viene acquistato, infatti, dal sig. Tito Dell’Erba e grazie a lui diventa sede di una latteria chiamata “Milk”, che raccoglie e distribuisce latte in tutta la città e nelle frazioni limitrofe, acquistando particolare popolarità. Nel 1961 la latteria si trasforma in bar, diventando “Caffè del Museo”con la gestione della figlia di Tito: la signora Carmen.

In the year 1955 the enstablishment becomes of ownership of the family that currently manages him/it. Purchased by the sig. Tito Dell’Erba, in fact, becomes a called dairy "Milk", that picks up and it distributes milk in the whole city and in the neighboring fractions, purchasing particular popularity. In 1961 the dairy turns him into the cafe, becoming "Caffè del museo"with the management of the daughter of Tito: Mrs Carmen.

Dopo trent’anni di attività, a partire dall’anno 1991, si susseguirono diverse gestioni dell’immobile. Nell’anno 2018, il locale torna nuovamente alla storica gestione familiare, con un totale cambio di stile. Ambiente raffinato e familiare, “La Belle Epoque Café” è un locale in cui  ci si sente subito a proprio agio e dove è facile trovare nuovi amici, ma gli amanti della privacy possono trovare una saletta-torre molto accogliente e riservata.  All’esterno, il piacevole dehors offre ai clienti un ambiente allegro, dove potersi rilassare immersi nella storia di fronte alle maestosità delle torri simbolo di Albenga, e della Cattedrale S.Michele.

In the year 2018, the place again returns to the historical family management with a total change of style. Pleasant environment, "La belle époque café" is a place where immediately feels him to really ease, where is easy to find new friends, but the privacy lovers can find a very pleasant and reserved tower-room. Outside the
pleasant dehor offers a happy environment to our clients, absorbed in the history in front of the stately towers of Albenga and the Cathedral of  S.Michael.
